My test for multi camera shoot

An idea that was suggested to me was use a scene out of my documentary from last year and some how improve it and enhance and including multi camera techniques into it which is not a bad idea but I'll need to think which scene I can re-do.

Inspirations for idea
prime minister question time uses a multi camera system using a close up camera for the prime minister and the leader of the opposition and a camera for the speaker and then a Wide lens camera to get a shot off the ground floor for the house of commons and the MPS in attendance.

It is presented on BBC news Sky news and its separate Chanel for parliament BBC Parliament
on BBC parliament it is shown every Wednesday 12pm mid day.
It usually last 30 minuets and he target demographic would be around 30yr old to 70 because uni students and law students would watch to learn new things and for those who care for parliament and politicians and law making.
they're life style would be any where between £15000-£50000 because ew=anyone can be interested I the political system of their country and of course the income cane a bit over or a bit under of what I've stated.

The set up they have used form what I can tell is a 4 camera set up one holding a shot on the floor of the parliament a second on the speaker of parliament (John Bercow) and then 2 more one on the Conservative party leader and the other on the Labour Party leader the reason I like the idea of this setup show simple yet affective as you can get a hold of the situation by the different positions the cameras show helping the audience visually understand the situation and subjects being discussed.

The Russell Howard hour
this show is broadcasted on sky 1 at 11 pm every Thursday and features the political comedian tussle Howard who talks about the goings on In the word and uses comedy so the people can laugh at some of the bad situations and our parliament.
the target demographic for his audience would be 15-40 because it involves a lot of young humour but also mixes it with some political humour which is great and is used to bring in the older generations.
the lifestyle for the audience would be mostly from table living situations swell as lower and middle class.

The setup they use for this show is 3 cameras one that uses the crane shot technique to sweep over the audience another that has a wide angle of the stage and 2 to film him with a close up when interviewing and when he's speaking and the other swings over to the interviewee on the stage there are 3 screens which show graphics designed for the show and to help separate it into different sections of the show which I think is a brilliant idea.

Misfits podcast

The misfits podcast is from a group of you tubers who have got together and created a podcast of all the story and shenanigans that have happened in their past lives and in the last week.
the target demographic for their content is around 14-30 years old as they are around 20-30 years old themselves and their stories and comedy are suited towards those in the age gaps and groups their working class would be from lower working class to working middle class and would be any race and mainly from the male gender as some of the jokes can be misinterpreted.
it is usually available every Monday at 12pm

The idea I have formed from these various videos I have decided to do something similar to the misfits podcast where I will do a setup of a podcast and we will talk about gaming life story and our past and will probably be a bit spontaneous on what we talk about but it will make the audience feel like they are having a drink with the lads the way I'm going to research a podcast is by looking into the evolution the podcast and how it eventually transferred into a video podcast.

Comments

  1. I suggest that you copy paste to word and spellcheck your writing... e.g. tussle Howard. This will improve your blog and ultimately your level of achievement.

This is good work as you are analysing several shows and beginning to think about the cameras used... don't forget to detail the studio/lighting/crew used for a specific show too. Detail the actual audience demographic for these shows.

    THEN

Detail your ideas (3 minimum) for the multicamera show you intend to create and finally narrow this down to 1 idea. Take this one idea and explain what techniques you intend to use in your show (learnt from your initial ideas research).

  2. Create a short write up looking at legal, ethical and possible problems you might have on the project creation.
